The bench is constructed from sustainably sourced, recycled plastic and provides a solid, comfortable seat. It is designed to give years of service and unlike the wooden alternatives, it requires minimal maintenance and holds its colour so does not get affected by the weather.

Porcelain plaques are placed on the bench to commemorate your loved ones.

The benches are placed at strategic locations around the Gardens of Remembrance fixed in position to either a flagged or concrete area without obstructing paths or memorials.

The family bench would be solely leased by yourself for a renewable period of 5 or 10 years and only plaques you agree to would be placed on the bench. There is room for up to 12 plaques so plenty of space to remember family members.

The plaques measure 12cm x 9cm and are made of porcelain. Porcelain plaques are a modern take on a traditional granite plaque retaining a similar strength profile, are vitrified, durable, weather and frost resistant.

Porcelain plaques can accommodate larger inscriptions (Although the text does get smaller to accommodate) and we can add artwork and photographs directly onto the porcelain too to personalise the memorial.

There is the opportunity to personalise the plaque with pictures and photographs for an additional cost which will be discussed on application.
