Location

Located in the bottom corner of the new side of Sale Cemetery near 'Walton Park, Stretford: Located overlooking the meadows to the left hand side of the cemetery and
Urmston: Located in the top right hand corner of the cemetery, the memorial tower provides families with the option to commemorate loved ones within the cemetery.

Purchased on a renewable lease for a period of five or ten years, the cost includes the granite plaque with an inscription of up to eighty letters over six lines. For an additional fee, you can add pictures, illustrations and photographs to personalise the memorial.

Plaque Design

All lease options include a granite plaque with the first 80 gilded letters. Additional letters are available at an additional cost but the inscription must fit within a specified template.

Design options include:

• a photograph in a frame, or a simple design such as a badge
• flower or animal (examples are available at the Bereavement Services Office at Altrincham Crematorium)

A bespoke design can be also be requested and designs can be priced and produced from existing photograph.

Additional inscriptions can be added to the plaque provided sufficient space is available.

Rules

It will be the responsibility of the leaseholder to inform the Manager and Registrar of any change of address within the duration of the lease.

At the end of the lease period, we will write to you at your last known address with details of how you can extend the lease. If we do not receive any response, the plaque will be removed and held for a period of 12 months.

Liability cannot be accepted for damage caused to a memorial by persons other than Bereavement Services employees.

A memorial application can be refused if, in the opinion of the manager and Registrar, that the inscription would be unsuitable for the Garden of Remembrance.
